Siesta key is a destination for both locals and tourists with one of the liveliest bar scenes in town, mostly packed into Siesta Village. That mix can be quite entertaining, with some of the best people watching in town.  You’re likely to see bathing suits as club wear, even late into the night, at some Siesta key bars.

Looks like a tourist spot thanks to acres of faux island décor. Still, it’s difficult to argue with a big, open-air covered deck that allows the expansive interior/exterior bar patron to look out over the busy main drag of Siesta Village.

Another spot that references the wood and surf theme common to Siesta Village pubs, but here it feels a little more natural, in large part to a staff that’s turned it into a popular haunt for regulars. The food is standard bar and Floribbean fare.

An old-Florida style local hangout is the pub to come to as you are. The beach atmosphere and music ranging from 80′s to Caribbean allows you to kick back and relax. Swim suits are allowed on the deck. Along with cold beer and a full bar, the Pub’s menu features chicken wings, burgers and fish sandwiches. It is within walking distance from Turtle Beach on the south end of Siesta Key.
